My Manifesto

»

by Marc Chung

From the Liquid error: undefined method `length' for nil:NilClass part of the brain.

* **Stand on the shoulders of giants** There's no reason to reinvent the wheel. Focus on your core product and leverage everything else. * **Make it useable** Sure, you’ve got a great product, but can your grandma figure out how to use it? * **Focus on action, not on the fruits of action**; avoid attraction to the fruits and attachment to inaction. * **Fail early, fail often.** Googlely speaking, it means that your products should be in a perpetual beta stage. To a Microsoftie this means that the third version of a product should kick a lot of ass. * **Never have responsibility without authority.** * **It is better to be trusted than loved.** Be open and transparent. * **Be capable of delivering**. Sure, talk it up, but be capable of delivering.
